About the artists:
Joanne Pagano Weber is an artist and writer who exhibits in the tri-state area. A narrative painter, in recent years she has collaborated with the sculptor Janice Mauro on cross-disciplinary installations, including text, which combine humor and social critique concerning the ramifications of global warming. Marjorie Magid’s paintings are representational but not realistic, they convey the feelings and the spirit or essence of her subjects. She paints unusual animals such as ostriches, lemurs, blue footed boobies, birds of paradise, as well as expressive dogs. Color is key.
