On Saturday, November 27, Thanksgiving weekend, Celeste Graves, MA, will lead a silent walk and meditation in The Esopus Bend Nature Preserve in Saugerties. Kathy Carey will co-lead this nature walk where you will be invited to participate in gentle, easy to follow qigong exercises. These simple movements will ground and connect us with the earth, reminding us to be mindful as we walk over stones and the damp leaves of the season. We will attune and align the energies of body, mind, and spirit, encouraging balance and harmony as we move among the trees, through the breeze, in gratitude for the preservation of this land and creek, and for all of Nature.
Parking at the Sterley Avenue Entrance is Limited, so meet at Saugerties Village Beach parking lot between 10:30 – 10:45 to carpool or caravan
Bring Water, dress appropriately for the weather, and wear sturdy shoes. No dogs on this quiet adventure, please.
Rain Date: Sunday, November 28. Same time.
