Books Alive, a four month series of professional actors reading from acclaimed writers. Each event is an hour of discovery and creative workshops about new worlds and the power of one's imagination.

Jan. 21st, 11AM, Poetic Words with Hip Hop artist Daniel Vallegas, actors Chantez Engeleit and Gary Brownlee, reading work by Audre Lord, Mary Oliver, Naomi Shahib Nye, Vachel Lindsey and others.

February 24th, 1PM, Celebration of Black Writing. March and April dates and topics are TBA.
