WATERCOLOR WALK, with ANGELA GAFFNEY-SMITH
We will explore: the paint and the landscape. We will use gesture to simplify line and form into bold shapes using brushes larger than half an inch.

Angela Gaffney-Smith is a figurative painter and print-maker, whose current body of work combines original pieces in mixed media. Her collage "Athena Knew Alcyoneus" was recently included in Kotaj Magazine. Angela is the recipient of the Alan Koff and Lucille Blanch Awards for artistic excellence at the Woodstock Artist Association and Museum, in Woodstock, NY. She has taught multi-media workshops through New York State Council on the Arts and Greene County Council on the Arts.
