1:20 – 2:30—Jigsaw Puzzles with Barry Benepe (Community room)
Jig saw puzzle assembly, especially of antique wood puzzles, is a uniquely satisfying social activity involving us gradually assembling hand cut wood tessarae into a complete picture, connecting us with the artist and original cutter.

1:20 – 3:30—Peopling a Mural with Joanne Pagano Weber (Community room)
Select a “character” from a group of cardboard cutout figures, and place it in a mural, or create one yourself. Cutout pieces provided – you paint and assemble!

1:20 – 4:30—Rae Stang’s Tiny Carnival (Front Yard)
An assortment of hand made vintage-style games of skill & chance – fun for all ages

1:30 – 3:00—Saugerties Stories (Upstairs Sanctuary)
Get inspired by stories from friends and neighbors who talk about the interesting work they do and how it connects to their lives in Saugerties. We’ll have time to hear your stories too.

2:00 – 4:30—Hand Henna Painting with Shanti (side garden)
An ancient technique from India will have a modern twist. While waiting to have your hand painted, you can amuse yourself with a marble rollercoaster.

2:00 – 3:30—Exquisite Corpse (Community room)
The name of a game invented by the Surrealists in which an image, typically a figure, is assembled by several people into one completed image.  Each portion is done in secret, resulting in some pretty interesting finished works. Conducted by students from the Cahill & Morse elementary schools and overseen by their art teacher, Elisa Tucci, no previous drawing experience is needed.

3:30 – 4:30—Creative Entrepreneurs Panel led by Peter Vinogradov (Upstairs Sanctuary)
A discussion with local store owners & freelance business people making the most of Saugerties’ unique strengths.

3:30 – 4:30—Creativity Starts at Home (Community Room)
Some interesting ways to reuse/repair things you have in your home.
- Edith Bolt will be demonstrating ways to repair fabrics.
- Charlie Potter will be working with toys, he will be showing repair methods – it’s a lot about glue
- Alicia Stang will be showing you how to repurpose or repair all those pieces of jewelry you can no longer wear. Feel free to bring clothing, toys and jewelry in need of TLC.

4:30 – 5:00—Shout Out Saugerties – Everyone is an artist (Upstairs Sanctuary)
Please join us to celebrate all the participants of SOS 2018, including yourself, and to look ahead to SOS 2019.
